Anysa Williamson

Anysa Williamson attended Maine College of Art & Design, earning her Bachelor in Fine Arts, Majoring in Fashion and Textile Design with a Minor in Art & Entrepreneurship. (Pending May 2025)  

Williamson works as a Studio Assistant and Lead Screenprinter for Erin Flett Studios in Gorham, Maine. Williamson resides and creates her own works in Portland, Maine. Relationships are a large part of Williamsons process and as a result of this community as well. Being involved in Collaborative projects, shows, market events, first friday art walks and pop up shops with fellow artists in her community. 

As an emerging artist Williamson experiments with understanding, interpreting, and abstracting the world around us by incorporating natural dye, ink and screen printing as methods of communication through textiles design. Discovering and building layers onto the textiles the work builds upon itself and new relationships are built upon and embodied between the artist, the garment and the wearer.
